Worship on the Square

The next event is right around the corner. We have a great night planned. Please help us spread the word and pray as this night unfolds. We are excited to come together as the local Body of Christ and make Him known. We want to be a light in the darkness, a “city on a hill that cannot be hidden.” How fitting that it is the day before Halloween and “All Saints Day.” We are having worship through music, prayer, reading the Word and have 11 ministries booked for tables. Let’s show the love of God through our love for each other and unity- John 17.

We are also asking people to help and bring some canned food to help Freestyle Missions feed people. No one is obligated, but if you so feel led, please participate in stocking their shelves.

UPDATE

We have added some pictures from the Greenville South Carolina WOTS which was May 1st 2010. You can view them in the Media tab.

The team is in full swing for the upcoming Marietta WOTS. The date is confirmed for October 30th 7- 9 p.m. Yes this is Halloween weekend, but guess what? The 30th is “All Saints Day” how cool would it be for all the saints of God to come out on the weekend most known for its darkness and be the light; making Him known in our community.

Please be praying as we go forward, for God to have His way, and get the glory.

After much prayer and consideration we are canceling/postponing Centennial Olympic Park July 31st and Covington September 18th. We are still moving forward with Marietta, October 30th and will keep you informed on details as we progress.

Our Next Worship On the Square Event is scheduled for Saturday, May 1st 2010, 7:00-9:30 PM  in Greenville, South Carolina. The event will take place at the Peace Center Amphitheater . We will be there rain or shine, looks like some scattered rain, so bring an umbrella! We have Scott England, Corey Brown, Chris Huff  and Matt Vaughan confirmed to lead worship. We will be highlighting the local ministry “United Ministries” . Please come out for a time of rallying on behalf of Jesus, making Him known through worship, displaying unity among the Body of Christ and supporting local and global efforts. We are praying Greenville will be a “city on a hill, that cannot be hidden.” Would you pray with us!!
